This is a review of some Dewalt tools I used regularly for the past eight years. They belonged to a set of 5 pieces and two 3-piece tool set with cable and two battery.

Dewalt XRP Cordless 18-volt Hammer: wonderful tool. The first was after 5 years due to a malfunctioning second cause is going strong. The new lithium batteries are much lighter and have a linear power (maximum power until it is completely dead - the weakest, as you download)is fine, except that you can not tell when the battery is dying.

Dewalt 18v Cordless Saw straight: do not abuse. Passed through two set - and they are not cheap. Second lasted just over a year of heavy and made me switch to a trickle Milwaukee and have never looked back. In addition, the locking blade jams after a while '.

Dewalt 18v Cordless Torch: Handle with care. Light contact between the neck and the flexible base finally break down and lose battery unitdysfunctional.

Dewalt 18v Cordless Circular Saw: Use patient, or it will sink slightly.

Dewalt 18v Cordless Hammer: amazing. Compact, lightweight, built in light - in two words: little monsters. In practical applications easily from the pair greatest Hammer. One of these tools, we are skeptical until they try it, and then you can not live without it.

Standard Dewalt Drills: sufficient torque for mixing small amounts of malta! A good backup tool in case of Hammerdies.

Dewalt Jigsaw: instrument quite well if the correct blade for the material used. Feeling strong, worth the money.

Conclusion: This criticism reflects my experience only and should not be generalized. With prolonged use of the tools mentioned above, I would recommend power tools Dewalt cordless drill and the excellent, but for hard use and abuse I would think twice before buying a set of wireless combo - unless that the sale price of the set is almost the price of the gun Hammer - Ihave seen it happen.

As for the weekend warriors, are all combo drill with good performance and the impact gun and XRP is only to justify the unit price and the bragging rights.
